Tour Central
One percent for the planet
Our philosophy Tour Central is committed to sustainable business and pledges 1% of its sales to the preservation and restoration of the natural environment.
Tour Central is one of a growing number of companies worldwide which voluntarily contribute 1% of their sales to environmental organisations.

The organisation One Percent for the Planet was launched in 2001 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of outdoor clothing company Patagonia Inc., and Craig Mathews, owner of Blue Ribbon Flies, and aims to use market forces to drive environmental change by inspiring companies to give.

In past years we have donated 10% to the sustainable village project in nearby Gömörszölös and the Slovak Wildlife Society's work protecting wolves and bears in the region. Last year, our largest donation to date went to Hungary's bird protection organisation MME.

In 2008, if your environmental protection organisation is looking for extra funds, email us.
